Buffalo/Toronto trip. July 18-23


Sunday, July 22:

We had big plans for the day: to permanently mark Kelly's body. We slept in and got up and checked out. We went and wandered around to have breakfast before the tattoo. I didn't have a container to mix up a drink in to take, so I just poured a couple cans of coke into what was left in the bacardi bottle and walked around with that. Our hotel was in a very nice part of downtown. So when we were walking around drinking from the bottle on a Sunday a little before noon, some people were pretty suprised. But we walked pretty far to eat, up to the north side of downtown where it was by no means bad, but not as nice. When people there saw me drinking, some of them got a bright happy look on their face, like "wow, what a great idea,.. I wish I had that!". But I digress.... pictures;

After the tattoo, we got some food for sort of a picnic, and looked for a park. My google maps was not working and it took a while to find this. I think it was the edge of campus.

This is how clean Toronto is. The whole city. Even where the clubs are. Even the ratty part, even the gay neighborhood. They don't all look this nice, but they are all 100% clean!!

And we still made it back to USA!! And where we go the good weather follows: bright and shiny in New York, dark and dull in Canada.

Back in Buffalo, the "Canal Fest" had been going on the last 5 or 6 days. Sunday was the last day and that night they had fireworks by a river a few blocks from her house, so we went down. After the fireworks, we sat around for a while. We noticed that the women behind us. Look at her!!! (I only made minimal changes to the picture, that's the way she really looked.)
